Our initial goal is to scale up our homestead to be able to feed our family and a few others. “A few other” families might look something like starting a CSA or selling to small-scale wholesale accounts. We are looking for a place where we can live on the property as we steward the land. We have a primary interest in getting the space and sunlight to really be able to scale up our gardening efforts from what we can do at our home in town. Tyler has also raised broiler chickens for 3 years at a small scale and would like space to continue to do that. If we had our dream property, it would also include additional acreage to suffice a small herd of sheep to steward.
