Farm Plan
We are a young family in Northwest Arkansas with three children, looking for an opportunity to put down roots and build a life centered around land, family, hard work, and community.
While we aren’t coming from a traditional farming background, we’re eager to learn and aren’t afraid of hard work. My husband owns and operates a dirt work/excavation business, so he has experience working with land, equipment, and maintaining property. I stay home with our children, and one of my biggest dreams is to raise them with room to explore, work alongside us, care for animals, and understand where their food comes from.
Our ideal property would give us the opportunity to start small and grow over time. We’re interested in a family farm or homestead with room for animals, gardening and/or agricultural production, and we’d love to learn from an established farmer or landowner along the way.

Detailed Experience
We are new to farming and do not currently operate a farm, but we are very interested in learning and building our experience. We have owned cows, goats, horses and chickens. My husband owns and operates a dirt work and excavation business, so he is experienced with heavy equipment, working with land, grading, drainage, and property improvement. We are comfortable with hard work and being outdoors and would love the opportunity to learn from an experienced farmer or landowner. Our goal is to start realistically, gain hands-on experience, and grow into responsible stewards of a farm over time.
Education & Training
We do not currently have formal agricultural education or training. We are at the beginning of this journey and are eager to learn through hands-on experience, mentorship, Extension programs, workshops, and other agricultural education opportunities. We would especially value the opportunity to learn from a landowner or farmer who has years of knowledge about their land and operation.
