FARM SEEKERS SEARCH
Arkansas native, US Navy aviation mechanic veteran, electrical engineering background, cattle ranch and poultry farm manager from family farm in Ark river valley recently relocated to NWA.
I want to own and operate my own beef cattle ranch someday. Until then I want to be out on a farm.
I want to build a regenerative style farm with a multiple facet drive. Using the methods of Joel Salatin and Greg Judy mixed with experience from others to create a natural feeling farm environment that brings good clean, chemical free, food from the farm to the table.
Our goal is to develop a sustainable farming enterprise that nurtures the land, our family, and our community utilizing multi-species grazing. We’d like to produce high-quality raw milk, dairy products, pastured lamb, wool, and other products from our sheep and cows. We’d prefer to sell direct-to-consumer, but are interested in exploring farmers markets, CSAs, and […]
Our goals are to become farm entrepreneurs, start a home business, and help expand farm production in NWA. Additionally, we want to connect our community with farming by sharing the importance of living a sustainable, healthy, and minimalistic lifestyle through education and hands-on activities. We seek to connect with like-minded individuals and find the resources […]
My goal is to create a thriving certified organic farm with diversified operations. I want to also be able to manage a small team of devoted farmers in operating a successful profitable csa, market garden, and wholesale production. I camped in the Ozarks recently and really love the area, and people. I grew up on […]
My goals are to prepare one to two acres with animals and cover crop, build 30 in wide beds, set up irrigation from well, spring, pond or city water, start advertising for csa asking what people would like, secure a place at farmers market, and talk with chefs about what options for produce they would […]
I would like to start a farm and slowly grow it into a full time operation. I will be retiring from the Air Force in about a year and I am looking forward to the next chapter in my life, which I hope includes some farming. Most interested in properties around central Arknasas.
My goals are to gain more personal experience in growing fruits and vegetables utilizing permaculture/regenerative practices, eventually to establish a teaching farm for veterans to gain skills in self sufficiency. Immediate goals would be to start with laying hens, adding perennial fruits, herbs, and small livestock.
We are needing to expand our beef cattle operation. We would like to lease 100+ acres. We are ready to purchase up to an additional 200 head of beef cattle.
